Just thought I’d let you know that Monday’s poem went live at mid-day yesterday. Thank you both for supporting me and helping me drive this crazy train forward. Tomorrow’s piece is already scheduled, and it is guaranteed to do good business. 😉
This felt crazy cool, Kerr! Like a dialogue! I, from like first read, I kind of thought it was some sort of thing about the government asking you who will keep your family safe and some sort of thing along that line, but im not certain on that. Still, i like the vibes bro!
Exactly! It’s about the people who put too much faith in the government to save them and solve all of their problems, misplaced trust. The government is not our father or out for our best interests, they are not going to save us, and so we must disconnect from that dependency before it gets any more out of hand. And it’s already gotten WAY out of hand.
Always feel extra blessed when you pop in and give your thoughts and opinions on my work MoTy. I’m glad you enjoyed this one. Exactly, there has to be some personal transcendence to escape systematic control. Thank you, lass! x
Yeah, I really tried to avoid getting too fancy with it. I had a story I wanted to tell with the poem and just drove towards that. I know there could be more here, some expansion, but I think it is strong in its bluntness.

Oh, it actually works, didn’t my notifications properly.
The comment tagging doesn’t, but it was the first thing I did this morning when I got on the bus.

Thank you so much, friend.
Awesome message 🔥
The first stanza sets the tone immediately after that very telling title. Pontificate. Nightly prayers x

There is a raw, cutting clarity in all of this - something that feels at once like prayer and like condemnation spoken aloud.
Thank you, Jeanne!

Appreciate you.
